Skins get more valuable as the round goes on. Holes 1–6 are worth 1x, holes 7–12 are 2x, holes 13–18 are 3x the base value. Carryovers carry the multiplier from the hole they started on. A 3-skin carryover landing on hole 15 at 3x is worth nine base skins. That math changes how you play the closing stretch.
